Chapter Sisters

Alice Nor

Fall 2017

"Going into freshman year I never pictured myself joining a sorority but as soon as I saw the sisters at rush I knew I should give it a shot. The bonds they share seemed so genuine and I wanted to be a part of that. The philanthropy work AXID does also got my attention since I hope to major in speech language pathology and go on to work with children on the autism spectrum. AXiD made me realize I wanted to be part of something bigger than myself as well as build relationships that will last a lifetime! I'm so happy I decided to go through with the process because I met and got close with amazing people as well as got the most perfect big."

Michelle Solntseva

Fall 2017

"Growing up as an only child I always wanted a sibling. Someone who would be there for me as much as I would be there for them. In AXID I found that love and companionship I have always been looking for."

Jesse Vasquez

Fall 2017

Jesse is currently a freshman and intends on majoring in international economics. Her hobbies consist of eating, napping, and listening to music/ dancing all the time. "Moving to New York from North Carolina was a decision I will never forget. It gave me such excitement to be on my own, but at the same time I realized my family and home was so far away now. Then I discovered AXID and fell in love with the sorority as a whole. From the beginning, every sister was so genuine and welcoming. I was amazed by their diversity and bond they shared with one another. I would have never thought of myself as one to join a sorority, but when I was introduced to AXID I knew I wasn’t just going to be a part of a sorority... I was going to be a part of a family. And now I have a home away from home."

Saryna Rodriguez

Fall 2017

I wanted to be a part of something that meant something. I've always felt like I was lost and roaming. My whole life I've never felt like I belonged anywhere. I not only found a group of girls I can now call my sisters but I found a home, I'm no longer lost and AXID is now a part of me."

I instantly established such great friendships with the girls I rushed with, and the sisters of AXID were so welcoming, I immediately saw there was no turning back. After the first rush event, I realized I made the best decision ever. I met the most amazing, supportive, and loving group of girls, a sisterhood that stands for something great, and made bonds that will last forever.
